Welcome to the Rivendell Veterinary Group and to our website.

Rivendell Veterinary Group is an independent veterinary group based on the Surrey/Hants border.  We have three surgeries - Farncombe Veterinary Surgery and Vale Veterinary Centre, catering for small companion animals, and Greyfriars Equine Unit catering for horses, ponies and donkeys. 

Our team consists of 5 Veterinary surgeons, and 11 nurses and support staff, many of whom have been with this practice for many years.  We understand the importance of veterinary experience and expertise and aim to combine this with an appreciation of the practical challenges of caring for animals in today's environment. 

We pride ourselves on being able to offer a comprehensive range of care to owners and carers of animals.  This includes a broad range of diagnostic equipment at our surgeries including digital X-ray, ultrasound scanning and in-house laboratory testing.

However there are times when a particular expertise is advisable.  When required we are able to advise and arrange for referral to an appropriate specialist practice or specific vet.
